Coated in millennial pink, the pint-sized store has a juxtaposition of busy terrazzo on the exposed skeletal surfaces with subdued paint on linear display inserts.

The design takes advantage of the long and narrow layout of the old commercial building to guide customers through the silver and gold displays. The linearity begins at the entrance with an elongated counter dividing the store into a buyer and a seller zone, on the either sides of which sits the silverware in stretched geometric cabinets, complimenting the scale and proportion of the existing volume. Opposite the weigh and pay desk is a mirror set into terrazzo from where the customer gets to the more premium gold selection which is decked in warm lit tall units. Behind all this showmanship, a simple cabin is hidden, housing a security safe. The heart of the store is the faux skylight framing the existing structural beams set with few phonies enhancing the otherwise squeezed ceiling height against the lineal space.

The intervention grows like superimposed layers of lengthy forms, respecting the ductility of metals showcased. The design attempts to translate the minute details inspired from the products into the store: The crafted curves soften the edges of the display modules; the bevelled moulds streamline the glass and the brass inserts within the complexity of terrazzo bring about miniscule niceties. Distinctive sleek forms and ornate elements identify well with the minimalistic art deco inspiration dipped in pink for some extra life.
